Wait A Minute, Mr. Postman is the dramatic story of Motown and Freddie Gorman, lead baritone bass singer with the Originals and his compelling relationship to the success of Berry Gordy, Jr. and Motown. Ironically, Freddie was missing at Motown’s 25 Year Anniversary Celebration just like his name on the Please Mr. Postman credit.

Instead, he and his wife watched it from their California home mystified how the man who co-wrote Motown’s first #1 Pop hit could be overlooked.

It’s a story about a real postman who wrote hits with and for Marvin Gaye, The Supremes, David Ruffin, The Four Tops, Mary Wells, and Smokey Robinson and the Miracles at night, but during the day, he delivered the mail.
